CYPexchange supports the VOX Network in North Yorkshire which brings together Children and Young People's VCS organisations for the purposes of networking, information sharing, support and influencing wider discussion and decision-making.
What is VOX?
North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations has successfully managed the VOX Network for Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations working with young people for a number of years.
Since October 2008 the VOX Network has expanded from its youth (13 – 19) focus to provide a voice to all VCS organisations working with children and young people. From this 2 new VOX Networks have emerged to cover all aspects of work with Children and Young People in North Yorkshire.
Our aim
The aim of VOX is to give all VCS organisations and groups working with children and young people, no matter what size they are; the opportunity to keep in touch with current developments as well as engage with policy makers across the County. To do this the VOX Networks brings together children and young people's VCS organisations for the purposes of networking, information sharing, support and influencing wider discussion and decision-making.
CYPexchange also supports the involvement and engagement of the VCS in the development, implementation, delivery and review of local and regional One Children’s Workforce strategies and their action plans.
VOXnet
VOXnet distributes vast amounts of useful data and is an excellent way to keep up to date.
Registered members can also use the service to circulate information, events, job adverts and training for there own organisations.
